Agape Life Prevention Center
Wish List
Most of our children and families arrive without the simple necessities of daily life. We want our children and families to have a safe and comfortable living environment while teaching them basic life skills. Check out our wish list items and get other individuals and corporations to give outside of traditional cash donations. Please read the list below to ensure that our children and families can be set up for success.
Hygienic Supplies
Our children and families need all the same hygienic supplies that you do.
Examples: shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste/toothbrushes, deodorant, soap, feminine hygiene kits
Clothing
Many of our children and families come to us with limited clothing and we are often providing them with school clothes and helping them dress for job interviews.
Examples: socks and undergarments (new), professional clothing for men and women, sweaters, sweatshirts, pajamas, sneakers, dress shoes
Independent Living Needs
Most of our children and families have lost everything and are starting over and come into the program with limited items. We love to set our children and families up with items to live independently.
Examples: blankets, sheet sets (twin XL and queen), pillowcases, towels, shower curtains, pots/pan, dishes, dinnerware, dish soap, laundry detergent, dish towels
Gift Cards
Store gift cards are an excellent source for Agape Life Prevention Center to fill the needs of our children and families we serve.
Examples: Target, Walmart, Old Navy, Amazon, Visa, Footlocker
Sporting Goods
Children in our program are homeless and have limited playtime being working toward feeling normal again and not feeling different than other kids their age. Getting to play games and sports just like their peers is a large part of this process.
Examples: basketballs, footballs, baseballs, card games, board games, handheld electronic games, arts and crafts supplies
Technology
Children and families in our program are in school, vigorously searching for work, completing GED courses, and uploading documents to different businesses, organizations, or programs. We are in desperate need of technology to help our children and families.
Examples: laptop, tablet, headphones, mouse, and printer.
